cankles

So one of the joys of being pregnant involves your ankles swelling to resemble meatloaves......I have not had to much trouble with this until recently. If we had a camera, I would take a picture. Dave and I have been meaning to go buy a digital camera, and if it wasn't bedtime we might go to Walmart right now. My feet look that disgusting.
I guess I should be thankful that this is my first experience with such craziness....but since I am pregnant, I feel entitled to complain.

Hopefully tomorrow will bring less excitement.

Getting ready for baby

Dave and I went to my doctor's appt on Friday 8/24. I am already dialated 2 cm. I hear you can stay at 2cm for a couple of weeks. Our midwife, Sharon, said maybe the baby will come a few weeks early. That might be nice...and my best chance of delivering a normal size baby!
Needless to say, we scurried home and put the crib together. We also bought our stroller/carseat combo (thanks to all the Wrays). I washed some of the thousands of baby clothes. I guess we are ready?!?

My Aunt Margaret really went all out. We had all kinds of great food. Everything was beautiful. I was sorry that some people weren't able to make the trip....but now you can see everything that you missed

My friend, Theresa, gave us this really cool diaper bag stuffed with goodies.....I can't wait to return the favor when her new baby comes....
